    Really needed a pick me up during my lunch break that is close to the office. Luna's was conveniently located in downtown, by several of the state buildings. I needed some specialty juice to pick me up.

    Luna's is a local joint known for jazz and open mic nights. There's beautiful art on the walls from different artists! There's a small stage front and center for the night festivities. I do think they need to upgrades their furniture.

    For the drink I ordered the islander, which was assorted fruit with yogurt and lime. It was very refreshing and blended to order. According to other reviews the sandwiches are great so I have yet to try them.

    Owner is a really nice guy! He deserves a great business!

    Update 08-26-18
    My favorite lunch order at Luna's when I was still working nearby:
    Smoked turkey on rye, with mayo, mustard, lettuce, & tomato sprouts, and a garden salad with lettuce topped with tomatoes, carrots, celery, zucchini, sunflower seeds, croutons & sprouts drizzled with roasted red bell pepper-garlic dressing.
    I have since retired & moved to Las Vegas, but fondly remember this place. LOVE Luna's!

    Amazing in every way. Home to great art, music, and fresh food. Family owned. Fun neighborhood. Famous for quesadilla and nachos. Great opportunities for artists to showcase their work (painters and musicians). Haven't tried the juices yet! I have been coming here for years!!! I love Art Luna! XOXO!

    Tasty food, fun atmosphere. Very cute restaurant with healthy options, the orange limeade type drink is super refreshing! Their salsa is HOT, probably to aid the sale of drinks! I don't mind, I enjoy spicy. Good place for music, too. I've always enjoyed this place :)

    My first experience at Luna's Cafe was last night for 4/20 poetry slam. I kinda forgot about the date, but the host made sure to acknowledge such. All in respectful, good fun of course.

    I came with a friend who also had never been to Luna's and we both were pleasantly surprised. As someone who is desperately trying to find something to do in Sacramento that does't involve eating or drinking, I'm glad I found something else to do on a Friday night.

    Because of stated above, I didn't try any of the food or drink on Luna's menu. I'm happy to see that online, they specifically highlight the vegan or vegan options in each of their plates. Two girls were nibbling at chips and guac nearby, which looked delicious.

    I think I found my new Friday night spot! Good people, outgoing energy and an activity that didn't leave me sick to my stomach (or head) the next day.
